There are many different things out there that can be considered as being under the trapping supplies category. When your going out even if your a professional trapper, or you or a amateur trying to learn the trade you need to make sure that you bring the correct supplies with you.
For one, you must make sure that you bring the correct trap for what your trying to capture, and also how your trying to capture them as well. Say for instance if your trying to catch a coyote, which is a very smart animal by the way, you dont want to bring a possum trap with you to catch this elusive animal.
I am going to list just a few things that you might want to consider putting into your trapping supplies if your going to go out trying to catch wild game. For one you need to, and must scent proof all your traps. If you do not take this precaution then go ahead and hang the coat up, because your not going to be catching anything.
There is a certain way you have to go about scent proofing your traps as well. For starters you need to take the trap and put them into boiling water for about 10 to 20 minutes and let them boil. After that you need to pour wax into the top of the boiling water while the trap is still in there.
After the wax has liquified above the water you must then pull the trap out through the wax and let the wax set onto the trap, this will then scent proof your trap. Also you need to make sure that the trap is stored in a area that is away from human scents. Also take precaution in touching the trap after being scent proofed, use latex gloves to handle the trap there after.
